Specialization
Surveying, mapping, and subsea positioning in support of marine construction and offshore energy development. Expertise spans hydrographic, geophysical, oceanographic, geodetic, and terrestrial survey disciplines — delivering the data and oversight needed from initial site assessment through final as-built deliverables. Clients include offshore energy operators, construction companies, military, and government agencies. Embedded within project teams or working independently as a construction-focused technical authority with thirty years of practical field experience---and the professional licenses to back it.

Eric Isaac, the principal of Subsea Metrics began his career with formal education in geophysics, civil engineering, survey engineering and hydrography. With this background, work began from the bottom up learning each profession as an intern, gaining experience working as an employee for Wimpol/Fugro in Hydrography and Geophysics, Port Freeport in Civil Engineering, and the National Park Service in Land Survey. After passing board certified proficiency exams in Land Survey and Hydrography, status as Professional Surveyor and Certified Hydrographer have been established.
Since its establishment in 2009, Subsea Metrics, LLC has operated as a consultancy working on projects while gaining increasing expertise and responsibility. Continuing with professional growth, PMP and CQM certifications have been accomplished that have required documented construction management and project management experience in addition to formal training and testing.

State-of-the-art equipment and software are integral parts of my professional practice. Implementation of a quality management system provides a focus for production work.
